Hotspot for setup Missing In Action

I have an RK1 and am trying to use the app to configure my box, but when it says connect to the hotspot, there is no FxBlox network seen.

I have installed an internal NVME drive and checked the Wifi card, but still no luck in producing a hot spot.

Any ideas?

It seems like the problem might not be directly related to the installation of an internal NVME drive or the WiFi card itself. However, there are a few troubleshooting steps and considerations that might help resolve the issue:

  1. WiFi Adapter Settings: Although the sources provided do not directly address the RK1 or FxBlox, adjusting the bandwidth of a WiFi adapter to 20MHz only has helped some users with similar issues 3. This might not be directly applicable to your situation, but it's worth exploring if there are similar settings available on your RK1 or within the FxBlox app that could affect the hotspot's visibility.
  2. Network Profile Issues: If the hotspot is not appearing, it might be worth checking if there are any network profiles that need to be removed or updated. This is more relevant to general WiFi connectivity issues but could potentially affect the visibility of the hotspot 3.
  3. Driver Issues: If the WiFi card is not working properly, it could be due to outdated or corrupted drivers. Although the sources do not specifically mention the RK1, updating or reinstalling drivers can sometimes resolve connectivity issues 5.
  4. Hardware Compatibility: Ensure that the WiFi card in your RK1 is compatible with the FxBlox app and that it supports the necessary features for creating a hotspot.
